A unique new restaurant has opened its doors at South Africa's top tourist development.
The exclusive Lookout Restaurant at Legend Golf & Safari Resort, at the Big Five Entabeni Safari Conservancy in Limpopo, is nestled between the world-first Signature Golf Course – designed by 18 of the world's top golfers - and the Mmadikiri Dam.
And this prestigious new dining venue looks set to quickly become a legend in its own right with its quality cuisine and exclusive views.
Legend Golf & Safari Resort was recently voted Africa's Leading Tourism Development Project at the World Travel Awards. It is on course to be a winner again after being announced as one of the final three nominees being considered for the title of an Overseas Living, Luxury Lifestyle Award, as South Africa's “Best Development”.
The new Lookout Restaurant is one of a range of different dining experiences at Legend Golf & Safari Resort.
The Golf Clubhouse serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a range of menus available and featuring great golfers' fare, in addition to a selection of fine dining options.
Guests can also dine at one of the resort's five luxury lodges within the Entabeni Safari Conservancy, enjoying outdoor “boma” meals as well as silver service.
Open on selected days from 7pm serving dinner and offering al fresco dining, the Lookout Restaurant offers guests a diverse menu of freshly prepared foods to cater to all tastes including starters of chilled leek and potato soup and smoked salmon with caper sauce and mains of grilled beef rib eye steak with pepper or mushroom sauce and grilled chicken breast filled with peppadew, feta and basil, served with mustard white wine sauce.
The Lookout also offers full bar facilities for a pre-dinner drink and an extensive wine list to enjoy over dinner.
Patrick Shorten, Managing Director of Legend Lodges, Hotels & Resorts, said: “We aim to create a first-class, gourmet dining experience at Legend Golf & Safari Resort and we are already receiving rave reviews from our guests. We look forward to welcoming more international guests to the Lookout Restaurant.”
